Thrissur : The Motor Workers Protection Committee will observe 24-hour motor vehicle strike on June 18 in Kerala.
The Motor Workers Protection Committee announced the strike is to protest over the Motor Vehicle Department’s decision to make installation of GPS mandatory for all vehicles.
They also expressed protest over hike in insurance premium.
Public transport system and transportation of goods will be affected as bus, autorickshaw, taxi and lorry will be off the roads.
The Motor Workers Protection Committee has announced the strike in the meeting held in Thrissur on Wednesday.
