Chhichhore – Movie review : A campus film to cherish forever

Chhichhore is a movie to cherish forever. This comedy-drama is directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

There has been many films about campus life. Most of the contemporary campus films fails to carry the liveliness. But this film is different. It comes with a life. there is life in each scene.  That is the highlight of Chhichhore.

Plot

Chhichhore takes us to the most happy days of our life, college days. The fun, the struggle and all those mixed emotions that every student goes through during their colourful days.

The spirit of togetherness and the friendly vibe enriches chhichhore towards the end. And with all these the film carries a beautiful message, as the icing on the cake.

Performance

Each and everyone did justice to their character. Be it the magnificent performance of male lead Sushant Singh Rajput or the cunning antagonist Prateik Babbar, it was praiseworthy.

The performance of side cast was brilliant. Varun Sharma as  Sexa (Gurmeet), Tahir Raj Bhasin as Derek, Naveen Polishetty as Acid, Tushar Pandey as Sundar Mummy
and Saharsh Kumar Shukla as Bevda made the film more enjoyable.

The only female character was Maya. Shraddha Kapoor’s portrayal of an insecure mother and the lover girl was superb.

The film shows two important phases of life, the vibrant young age and the troublesome yet beautiful middle-age.

All the characters has shown their full potential to connect with the audience in both these phases.

Chhichhore is an excellent package to relax yourself. The film does not let the viewer to feel bored at any point.

With lots of other films alongside, including the magnum opus Saaho, Chhichhore is ruling the box office.

It is not easy to entertain the audience to the core without any twists and convey a relevant message. Kudos to the director and the team.
