Israel Orders Mass Evacuation in Gaza: UN Urges Withdrawal Amid Escalating Conflict

The conflict between Israel and Hamas has escalated further as Israel has ordered nearly 11 lakh people living in northern Gaza, along with UN officials, to move south within 24 hours. This move comes as Israel prepares for a ground war, citing the presence of Hamas militants in Gaza City. The Israeli Army issued an evacuation order, asking civilians to relocate to the area south of the Wadi Gaza for their safety and protection. However, the United Nations (UN) has expressed deep concerns about this mass evacuation, highlighting the potential devastating humanitarian consequences. The UN has called on Israel to withdraw the order, emphasizing the urgent need to protect the lives and well-being of the people affected.

As the conflict intensifies, casualties continue to rise, with 2800 individuals losing their lives so far. The toll includes both Israelis and Palestinians, reflecting the grim reality of the ongoing violence. In response to the situation, the United States has reaffirmed its support for Israel. US State Secretary Antony Blinken stated that while Israel is strong enough to defend itself, it will never be alone as long as America exists, indicating ongoing US support for its ally during these challenging times.
