The Bars or Bevco outlets won’t remain open beyond regular time for New Year’s Eve, informed Kerala state excise department. There has been no change in the timings of the bars or the Bevco outlets. Action will be taken against the shops that violate the rules, the department said.

The viral message also claimed that the Bevco outlets will be open till 1 am. Meanwhile, as per the official timings, Bevco will close at 9 pm and bars will close at 11 pm. The public can report complaints to numbers 9447178000, and 9061178000.
