Chinese premium smartphone maker OnePlus is moving to launch a new smart TV in India. OnePlus TV is going to be launched 40Y1.
The OnePlus TV 40 Y1 features a 40-inch display with a bezel-less design. The display offers a 93 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamut and an FHD+ resolution. The OnePlus TV 40 Y1 sports a screen-to-body ratio of over 93 per cent.
The OnePlus TV 40 Y1 features two full-range 20 W box speakers and Dolby Audio enhancement.
It is reported that the new TV 40Y1 will be priced lower than the TV 43Y1 which is priced at Rs 26,999. The company tweeted that the launch of the OnePlus TV 40Y1 will take place on the 24th of this month. Sales will begin soon on the OnePlus on the website. The operating system is OxygenPlay based on Android TV9.
OnePlus TV 40Y1 runs on a 64-bit processor that does not specify which one.
The 40-inch Full HD (1,920×1,080 pixels) display has 93 per cent DCI-P3 colour gamma and gamma engine picture enhancer.
The new TV has features like OnePlus Connect. It has a very low display of bases. There is a feature like Inbuilt Chromecast, Alexa and Google Assistant. The new OnePlus TV also has two 20W speakers with Dolby audio support. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 B/G/N and Bluetooth V5.
