Adults who receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Washington State are entitled to free marijuana joints.

Delhi, India: Washington State has launched a ‘Joints for Jabs’ promotion for adults in order to increase its COVID-19 vaccination drive.

According to the New York Times, anyone over the age of 21 can now get a free marijuana joint after getting the jab

On Monday, the state’s liquor and cannabis board announced that the promotion would begin immediately and last until July 12.

After receiving their first or second dose at an active vaccine clinic, marijuana retailers will be allowed to provide customers aged 21 and up with a prerolled joint at their stores, according to the board. The offer, however, is limited to marijuana joints and excludes other products such as edibles.

According to the New York Times database, 58 percent of people have received at least one dose of the coronavirus vaccine, while 49 percent have been fully vaccinated.

Meanwhile, Washington’s liquor and cannabis board recently announced that residents who show proof of vaccination will receive a free beer, wine, or cocktail.

In addition to Washington, an Arizona dispensary has announced that adults 21 and older who receive the COVID-19 vaccine will receive free marijuana joints or gummy edibles.
