India has many variety of mangoes like Bainganpalli, Dussehri, Alphonso, Langda etc . But ever heard about the expensive mangoes is found in Japan? The purple mango is cultivated in Miyazaki city in Japan, recently India has also started producing it.
This most expensive mangoes in the world and were sold at Rs 2.70 lakh per kilogram in the international market. These mangoes turns red from purple when ripened and the shape looks like dinosaur’s eggs and has over 350g in weight and have a 15% high sugar content.
