The Kerala government has stated that the Plus One exams will not be cancelled.

The Kerala State Board’s Plus One or Class 11 examination, scheduled for September, will not be cancelled, the state government informed the Supreme Court on Tuesday.

The examinations will be conducted in accordance with the Covid protocol, according to an affidavit submitted to the court by the Kerala government. The government believes that cancelling exams will have an impact on students’ futures.

The Supreme Court had asked the state for its opinion on the cancellation of Plus One exams. It stated that if the state does not provide its reasoning, the court will be forced to issue an order based on the petition.

Though Standing Counsel G Prakash requested a one-week extension, the court denied the request. The petition will be heard on Wednesday, according to the announcement.
