Using an old Android phone? Google to stop allowing sign in
Google might stop allowing signing from devices which runs on Android 2.3.7 or lower from September 27. As per latest reports, it will show username or password error when one plans to use Google and other apps like Gmail, YouTube and maps.
Google informed if the device can update to a newer version (3.0+), should maintain access to Google apps on that device. Google might no longer allow sign-in android devices that run Android 2.3.7 or lower.
Tech giant has also given a warning that the update for Drive may change the link system, which means that the links sent for sharing might no longer work.
