Deepika Kumari and Pravin Jadhav lose in the quarterfinals of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics

Deepika Kumari and Pravin Jadhav of India were defeated 6-2 by South Korean archers An San and Kim Je Deok in the quarterfinals of the mixed pair event at the Tokyo Olympics on Saturday.

Deepika and Jadhav had come back to defeat Chinese Taipei and advance to the quarterfinals.

Team India needed to win the third set to save their fortunes after trailing 1-3 after losing the first set by one point, and the duo, who were shooting together at international level for the first time, showed perfect coordination to seal the issue 5-3 in style.
