This is why the cab driver did not react after being beaten up by a Lucknow girl

The footage of a woman repeatedly striking a cab driver at a major traffic light in Lucknow continues to go viral. Both the child and the driver have since given interviews to various media outlets and shared their perspectives. In one of these chats with The Lallantop, the driver Shahadat Ali revealed why he did not retaliate violently after getting smacked.

“My parents haven’t trained me to hit a woman in my house,” he explained. I come from a wonderful family. My mother has taught me never to hit a lady. Even you know that heaven is at mother’s feet.”

In a prior chat with Zee News Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, he went on to narrate the incident in detail.

“She smashed my employer’s phone,” he explained. My car was also wrecked, and I lost roughly Rs 60,000.”

The female, on the other hand, had a different story to tell. She claimed she had various ailments and had been hounded for two years by a group of eve-teasers.

On July 31, the incident occurred at a key junction in Lucknow. When a video of the teenager ruthlessly beating up the cab driver went viral, the internet demanded her arrest. The cops later filed a complaint against the girl.

Initially, the police booked the driver in several cases but he was released later.
