Spider-Man: No Way Home grosses Rs. 79 crore on Day 3 at the box office

Spider-Man: No Way Home, starring Tom Holland in the titular superhero film, saw an increase in box office collections on Saturday. The film has made nearly 79 crores in three days since its release and is expected to cross the 100 crore mark.

To speak of the film, it debuted on Thursday with a gross of 32.67 crores and earned a total of 20.37 crore earlier on Friday. The film also saw a boost on Saturday, with a collection of around 26 crores.

According to Boxofficeindia.com, No Way Home’s weekend collections should be in the 26 crore nett range, giving it a three-day total of 79 crore nett plus and the highest three-day opening weekend in India since the pandemic, beating Sooryavanshi’s numbers by around 3 crore nett.

To discuss Tom Holland’s Spider-Man: No Way Home, it is the most recent film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the third film in the franchise. Despite having 50% occupancy in theatres, the film broke a slew of records, with its Day 1 box office ranking at no. 1 and fifth in the world.

According to a Multiplex Association of India report, Spider-Man: No Way Home had the second busiest advance ticket sales in the history of cinema exhibitions.
