Controversy Surrounds Modi’s Photo Removal from Vaccination Certificates Amid Covishield Safety Concerns

AstraZeneca, the UK pharmaceutical company responsible for Covishield, recently admitted to potential serious side effects associated with the vaccine. Reports indicate that strokes, heart attacks, and Thrombosis with Thrombocytopenia Syndrome (TTS) are among the identified risks. This admission has led to heightened scrutiny and legal challenges, with a group of individuals approaching the UK High Court seeking compensation for alleged vaccine-related health issues, including fatalities.
The Covishield vaccine, developed in collaboration with the University of Oxford, has been widely used globally under various names. In India, the Serum Institute of India in Pune holds the license for manufacturing and distribution. Over 175 crore doses of Covishield have been administered in the country, making it a crucial component of India’s vaccination drive.
