K. Sudhakaran Opts Out of Lok Sabha Elections, Citing Party Commitments

KPCC President K. Sudhakaran MP revealed his decision not to contest the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections. Sudhakaran shared during a press conference that he had communicated this choice to the party high command. He stated that being the KPCC President and an MP simultaneously posed challenges, emphasizing the demanding nature of both roles.

While he refrains from the electoral race, Sudhakaran expressed confidence in the Congress party’s ability to secure victories in all seats, pointing to prevailing anti-corruption sentiments in the state and nationwide discontent against the BJP. Notably, he clarified that there are no disagreements between him and the Leader of Opposition, VD Satheesan.
