Chandi Oommen Set to Commence Vehicle Tour; Followed by Home Visits from Jake and Lijin
Chandi Oommen, the UDF candidate, is ready to launch a vehicle tour starting from Pudupally today. Meanwhile, Jayik C Thomas, the LDF candidate, and NDA candidate Lijin Lal are both engaged in their respective home visit programs.
The deadline for the withdrawal of nomination papers concludes today at 3 pm. Subsequently, the process of assigning symbols to the candidates will initiate. Out of the 10 submitted nomination papers, seven have received approval. Upon the publication of the final voter list, the constituency’s total number of voters is recorded at 1,76,412.
Following the passing of Oommen Chandy, preparations are underway for the by-election in Pudupally. The by-election for Puthupally is scheduled for September 5, with vote counting taking place on the 8th. The scrutiny process will occur on the 18th.
