Kerala to Experience Five More Days of Rainfall as Monsoon Recedes

Kerala is expected to receive continuous rainfall for the next five days as a result of a low-pressure system developing in the northwest Bay of Bengal near the West Bengal-Odisha coast and a cyclonic circulation over south Rajasthan. The hilly areas of southern and northern districts are likely to experience heavy rainfall. Fishermen have been cautioned against venturing into the sea. Meanwhile, the South West Monsoon has started to withdraw, with a 38 percent reduction in rainfall recorded thus far.
