Former Vadakara MLA M K Premnath Passes Away in Kozhikode

The Kerala community mourns the loss of former MLA and Lok Tantrik Janata Dal State Vice President M K Premnath, who passed away at the age of 74 in a private hospital in Kozhikode. Premnath, a prominent figure, represented the Vadakara assembly constituency from 2006 to 2011 and also served as the President of Vadakara Rural Bank. He had a rich history of political involvement, having served in various leadership positions within Janata Dal and student organizations. Despite enduring physical hardships due to past police torture during the emergency period, he remained a dedicated advocate in the Vadakara Bar Association. He is survived by his daughter Dr Priya and son-in-law Kiran Krishna.
