Bay of Bengal Low Pressure System to Bring Typical Rainfall to Kerala

The Central Meteorological Department has issued a warning indicating that Kerala is expected to receive regular rainfall due to the influence of a low-pressure system in the Bay of Bengal. Isolated heavy rain is anticipated in hilly regions.

Caution is advised to the public, as thunderstorms and gusty winds may accompany the rainfall. However, there are no specific rain warnings for any district today. Fishermen and coastal residents are urged to exercise vigilance, as there is a potential for high waves and storm surges along the Kerala coastline. Nevertheless, fishing activities along the Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts are unaffected.
