RCB Renamed to Royal Challengers Bengaluru: Unveils New Jersey and Logo

Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) made headlines as they officially changed their name and unveiled their new jersey and logo at a grand event held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Captains Faf du Plessis and Smriti Mandhana, along with batting icon Virat Kohli, led the ceremony, marking a significant moment in the team’s history. The event, known as RCB Unbox 2024, also celebrated the passionate fan base known as the 12th Man Army and showcased the team’s readiness for the upcoming IPL 2024 season. Fans were treated to live action as the entire team participated in a training session, offering a glimpse of what’s to come in the exciting season ahead.

As part of the festivities, former RCB player R Vinay Kumar was honored with induction into the RCB Hall of Fame, joining legends like AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. The evening was further enhanced with electrifying performances by renowned DJ Alan Walker and other popular artists, adding to the excitement surrounding the team’s rebranding. With their first match against Chennai Super Kings scheduled in Chennai, followed by their home game in Bengaluru, RCB is gearing up for an exhilarating season ahead, fueled by the support of their loyal fans and the spirit of their new identity as Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
