Air India Express Expands Flight Services from Kerala

Air India Express has announced plans to expand its flight services from Kerala as part of its summer schedule, covering both domestic and international routes. The airline aims to enhance its operations from four airports in the state by introducing three new flights each month to improve services.

At Kochi Airport, the number of weekly services will increase from 93 to 104 compared to 2023. New flights to Dammam and Bahrain have been launched, along with additional services to Hyderabad and Kolkata.

Similarly, Kozhikode Airport will experience a rise in weekly services from 77 to 87, while Kannur will see an addition of 12 more services. The new routes include destinations such as Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al-Khaimah, and Bengaluru.

Thiruvananthapuram Airport is set for a significant expansion, with flights increasing from 35 to 63 per week. This includes enhanced services to Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Dammam.

It’s noteworthy that Air India Express currently leads in international flight operations from Kerala, solidifying its position as a key player in the aviation sector.
