Railway Announces Special Trains to Ease Summer Vacation Rush

To accommodate the surge in summer vacation travelers, the railway department has introduced special trains between Lokmanyatilak and Kochuveli stations.

The Lokmanyatilak to Kochuveli special express (Train No. 01463) will depart from Lokmanyatilak at 4:00 PM and arrive at Kochuveli at 8:45 PM the following day. This service will operate on April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and June 6.

For the return journey, the Kochuveli to Lokmanyatilak special express (Train No. 01464) will depart from Kochuveli at 4:20 PM and reach Lokmanyatilak at 9:50 PM the next day. This service will be available on April 13, 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1, and 8.

These special trains will make stops at key stations including Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Tirur, Shoranur, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayamkulam, Kollam, and Kochuveli in Kerala. Travelers can take advantage of these additional services to ensure a smooth and hassle-free journey during the busy summer vacation period.
