Kerala Braces for Summer Rain over Next Three Days

Kerala is expected to experience isolated summer rain over the next three days, with a yellow alert issued for Kozhikode, Wayanad, and Kannur districts. Maximum temperatures are forecasted to reach 39 degrees Celsius in Palakkad, 38 degrees Celsius in Thrissur, Kozhikode, and Kannur, and 37 degrees Celsius in several other districts including Kollam, Alappuzha, and Ernakulam.

Additionally, there is a possibility of high waves along the Kerala coast and southern Tamil Nadu coast due to the ‘Kallakkadal’ phenomenon. Fishermen and coastal residents are advised to exercise caution during this period to ensure their safety.
