SSLC Exam Results Declared: Pass Percentage Slightly Lower Than Last Year

The results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examinations have been officially declared, revealing a pass percentage of 99.69%. While this marks a commendable achievement, it is slightly lower than the previous year’s pass percentage of 99.7%. Minister K Sivankutty extended his congratulations to all the successful students.

A total of 4,27,105 students appeared for the SSLC exams, out of which 4,25,563 have qualified for higher studies. Notably, 71,831 students attained the coveted A Plus grades in all subjects, indicating an increase compared to the previous year. Once again, students from the Malappuram Education District clinched the highest number of A Plus grades, with 4,934 individuals achieving this feat, mirroring the district’s consistent performance.

Among the districts, Kottayam emerged with the highest pass percentage at 99.92%, while Thiruvananthapuram recorded a slightly lower pass percentage at 99.08%. The Pala education district achieved a remarkable milestone with a 100% pass percentage. Furthermore, an impressive 892 government schools attained a perfect pass percentage.

In the Lakshadweep region, 285 students appeared for the SSLC exams, with 277 successfully qualifying for higher studies, resulting in a pass percentage of 97.19%.

Certificates for successful candidates will be distributed from the first week of June, and applications for revaluation can be submitted from tomorrow until May 15. Additionally, the Supplementary Allotment of Yearly (SAY) exam is scheduled to take place from May 28 to June 6.

Looking ahead, the minister announced forthcoming changes in the examination pattern, with a focus on implementing minimum marks criteria for written tests, ensuring a minimum of twelve marks is required to pass in each subject.

Students can access their SSLC exam results through various websites, including https://pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in, www.prd.kerala.gov.in, https://sslcexam.kerala.gov.in, and www.results.kite.kerala.gov.in. Alternatively, they can utilize the PRD Live mobile app, available on both Google Play Store and App Store, for swift access to results. Last year, the results were announced on May 19.

Furthermore, the results for the second-year Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations are scheduled to be announced tomorrow, with accessibility through multiple websites including www.keralaresults.nic.in, www.prd.kerala.gov.in, www.result.kerala.gov.in, www.examresults.kerala.gov.in, and www.results.kite.kerala.gov.in for Higher Secondary, and www.keralaresults.nic.in, www.vhse.kerala.gov.in, www.results.kite.kerala.gov.in, www.prd.kerala.gov.in, and www.results.kerala.nic.in for Vocational Higher Secondary.
