Various Districts in Kerala to Receive Heavy Rain till Tuesday

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued warnings for southern and central districts of Kerala, predicting heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms and strong winds reaching speeds of up to 55 kmph. The inclement weather is expected to persist until Tuesday, prompting advisories against fishing in southern Kerala from Saturday to Monday.

Several districts, including Thiruvananthapuram, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta, and Idukki, experienced heavy rainfall yesterday. Thiruvananthapuram recorded 52 mm of rain in just one hour, leading to significant waterlogging in various areas.
