Guruvayur Temple Receives Rs 5.39 Crore in Hundi Offerings in Past Month
The Guruvayur temple has reported receiving Rs 5,39,06,162 as treasury revenue over the past month. Additionally, the temple collected 2.115 kg and 400 mg of gold and 13.130 kg of silver. Through the E-Hundi at the east entrance, Rs 2.57 lakh was deposited into the temple’s bank account.
Marriage Registration Facility
The Guruvayur temple now offers a marriage registration facility provided by the municipality near the marriage hall. The municipality has been allocated 900 square feet of land in the Vaijayanthi shopping complex of Devaswom in East Nada under certain conditions. The Municipal Corporation has sanctioned Rs 16 lakh for the provision of these facilities. An online marriage registration facility is also available through the government’s K-smart app and website, allowing for easy registration and certificate download.
