Hajj 2024 continues as the second group of pilgrims, exclusively comprising women, has departed from the Karipur hajj camp. This departure adds to a total of 1992 individuals who have reached Jeddah through 12 flights. Notably, three of these flights were dedicated to women pilgrims without a Mahram. A P Abdullakutty, the chairman of the Central Haj Committee, personally visited the camp to convey his well wishes for a smooth journey. Discussions regarding the camp’s operations were conducted with its members, and Umar Faizi Mukkam led the send-off ceremony and prayers for the departing pilgrims. Tomorrow, on Saturday, three more flights are scheduled to depart from Karipur, carrying pilgrims from the ‘Without Mahram’ category.
