Fahadh Faasil Reveals ADHD Diagnosis at 41 During Emotional Speech

Fahadh Faasil, a globally beloved actor, recently revealed that he was diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 41. He shared this during the inaugural ceremony of Peace Valley Children’s Village in Kothamangalam, stating that he has Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), a condition typically diagnosed in children and characterized by inattention and hyperactivity, which can impact academic performance if untreated. In adults, symptoms can include forgetfulness, poor time management, and procrastination, due to low dopamine levels in the brain.

During his speech, Fahadh expressed gratitude for being part of the event, stating, “I believe that some light entered through these faces. I thank almighty for bringing me to Peace Valley in that light. I will cooperate in whichever way I can in the journey of Peace Valley. Just have to say what should be done. If you can smile when you see me, that’s the greatest thing I can do for you. I fully believe that I am one of you. So, I believe that we can meet each other again in the journey.”

Meanwhile, Fahadh’s latest film, “Aavesham,” is a box office hit, drawing large crowds. In the movie, written and directed by Jithu Madhavan, Fahadh plays Rangannan, a gangster who speaks a mix of Kannada and Malayalam, captivating audiences, especially children and youth. The film, produced by Anwar Rasheed and Nazriya Nazim, features a stellar cast including Mansoor Ali Khan, Ashish Vidyarthi, Sajin Gopu, popular YouTuber Hipster, Mithun J S, Roshan Shanawas, Pooja Mohanraj, Neeraja Rajendran, Sreejith Nair, and Thangam Mohan, with Sameer Thahir handling the cinematography.
