Gold Prices Surge to Weekly High; Sovereign Gold Reaches Rs 53,320

Gold prices have surged again, with the price of sovereign gold reaching a new weekly high. An increase of 200 rupees was recorded today, bringing the price of one sovereign gold to Rs 53,320, while one gram now costs Rs 6,665. Gold prices remained stable for the past three days at Rs 53,120 per sovereign. The highest price for gold this month was Rs 55,120 on May 20, and the lowest was Rs 52,440 on May 1. In contrast, silver prices fell today, with one gram of silver priced at Rs 95.90 and one kilogram at Rs 95,900.

On the global market, gold prices saw a rise this morning, with the standard increasing by $6.21 (0.27%) to $2,343.49 per troy ounce. This follows a significant drop last week, attributed to profit-taking.
