NDA candidate and celebrated actor Suresh Gopi’s triumph in the Thrissur Lok Sabha constituency has garnered praise from prominent figures in the Malayalam film industry. Renowned actors Mohanlal and Mammootty conveyed their congratulations via social media, while producer G Suresh Kumar, actor Krishna Kumar, and others visited Suresh Gopi’s residence to extend their best wishes in person.

Securing a substantial majority of 74,686 votes, Suresh Gopi’s victory marks the BJP’s first win in the Lok Sabha elections in Kerala. In his response, Suresh Gopi attributed his success to Prime Minister Modi, whom he regards as his political deity. He emphasized that the voters’ dissatisfaction with current politics translated into their support for him and pledged to uphold the trust placed in him by both party workers and voters alike.
