Tragic Accidents in Pakistan: Family of Five Killed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Gorge Fall

In a tragic incident in the Barbatkot area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Shangla district, at least five members of a single family were killed when their vehicle plunged into a gorge on Monday, as reported by ARY News. Local police confirmed the fatalities and stated that efforts are underway to retrieve the bodies.

On the same day, another devastating accident occurred on the Rawalpindi motorway, resulting in the deaths of at least six people and several injuries. According to ARY News, the collision involved a gas tanker and a car in the Salt Range area. The motorway spokesperson confirmed that the gas tanker, traveling from Rawalpindi to Faisalabad, experienced brake failure, leading to the crash.

Upon receiving information about the accident, police and rescue teams promptly arrived at the scene to conduct rescue operations. The injured were transported to the hospital for medical treatment, while the deceased were taken for legal formalities.
