Fourth Loka Kerala Sabha to Commence Tomorrow with Global Representation

The fourth session of the Loka Kerala Sabha is set to begin tomorrow and will continue until the 15th at the R Sankaranarayanan Thambi Hall in the Legislative Assembly. The session will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. A total of 351 members, including representatives from around 100 countries, will participate. Attendees will include MLAs, MPs, non-resident Keralites with Indian citizenship, those residing abroad, individuals from other Indian states, returned non-residents, non-residents who have excelled in various fields, and OCI card holders.

A cultural program will be held at Nishagandhi tomorrow, featuring a presentation titled “Exo 2024 beyond borders,” which will explore themes such as war, invasion, escape, defense, and peace through a multi-digital performance. Notably, novelist Benyamin will appear as Benyamin.

The event will feature performances by film actor and director Madhupal, actors Premkumar and Anoop Chandran, and singers Sitara Krishnakumar, Gauri Lakshmi, and Rajesh Brahmanandan, along with 70 other artists. This two-hour cultural gathering is organized by the Malayalam Mission with support from Bharat Bhavan. The concept and presentation are crafted by poet and Malayalam Mission Director Murukan Kattakada and Bharat Bhavan Member Secretary Dr. Pramod Payyannur.

The Loka Kerala Sabha serves as a public forum to foster community and cooperation among the global Keralite diaspora, aiming to integrate them with the state for the social, cultural, and economic development of Kerala, provide constructive suggestions, and discuss their issues.
