Kochi: In a dedication to International Girl Child Day, Mirchi Malayalam launches “Mirchi Penkutty” on October 11th, to Mentor Kerala’s Next Generation of Female Pioneers. The program shifts focus from simple celebration to impactful action, dedicating its airtime to Mentorship aimed at inspiring young girls to fearlessly pursue their dreams in arts, academics and administration.
“Mirchi Penkutty” seeks to bridge the gap between aspiration and achievement by giving listeners direct access to accomplished women who have forged their own paths and are ready to share their expertise. Mirchi has curated a stellar lineup of role models to serve as mentors during the special broadcast.
Parvathy Gopakumar IAS, Assistant Collector, will inspire young girls with practical strategies for excelling in competitive academics and public service. While talking to Mirchi, she said, “It is a sad reality that many parents bring up their daughters as a commodity in the matrimonial market, and that should change. Change begins when girls are empowered and are financially independent”.
Rima Kallingal, the versatile actress, dancer and entrepreneur, shared, “It is a blessing for a girl child when her parents can support and be with her while she strides through her dream journey”.
Nithya Mammen, the popular Playback Singer, emphasised a backup plan for every girl who wishes to pursue her dream in art, which will make her more confident to pursue her talent. She will offer insights on artistic resilience, discipline, and building a career based on passion in the music industry.
