Dubai Duty Free Sales Soar to $1.94 Billion, Targeting $2 Billion by Year-End

November Sets New Record as Dubai Duty Free Races Toward Historic Sales Milestone

Dubai Duty Free has reported a remarkable $1.94 billion in sales by the end of November 2024, positioning itself to surpass its ambitious $2 billion target for the year. The figures indicate the market’s strong performance, with November alone contributing $205.67 million, marking it as one of the best months in its history. This success follows Dubai Duty Free’s consistent record-setting months, particularly in December, which coincides with the celebratory anniversary period, historically a high-sales time.

On November 30, the duty-free retailer also set a new daily sales record for the year, achieving $8.46 million in a single day. Ramesh Kidambi, CEO of Dubai Duty Free, expressed confidence that the company will continue to achieve significant milestones through December, with the busy holiday season ahead further boosting their performance.

Notable sales categories include perfumes, which saw a 10% increase compared to last year, generating $362 million. Gold sales also showed a positive trend, rising 2% to $194.57 million, while electronics sales reached $134 million. With strong consumer demand across various sectors, Dubai Duty Free is on track for another record-breaking year, thanks to the dedication of its team and the seasonal shopping surge.
