Statewide Ration Shop Closure in Protest of Government Neglect

In a demonstration of their dissatisfaction with government negligence, ration shop owners have decided to shutter their businesses today, leading to the closure of ration shops across the state.

The strike is rooted in several demands, including the prompt payment of 11 months’ worth of arrears to kit suppliers, a revision of the compensation package, and the thorough repair of POS machine issues. Ration shop proprietors are also calling for timely license renewals and the inclusion of salesmen in the compensation package.

However, Food Minister G.R. has emphasized that the strike should not infringe upon the right to access rations. Anil has asserted that stringent measures will be implemented against ration dealers if they fail to distribute rations from their shops within the designated time frame.

The minister has additionally stated his unwillingness to accept a protest strike that affects cardholders in need of essential rations.
