A huge blow for the average man! The price of an LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 25.50; check the tariff in your city.

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders, often known as cooking gas cylinders, have seen their prices rise by Rs 25.50. In Delhi, a 14.2 kg cylinder now costs Rs 834.50 instead of Rs 809, thanks to the new revision. Every month on the first of the month, state-owned oil corporations determine whether or not to adjust gas cylinder prices. Earlier this month, on May 1, gas firms made no changes to the price of LPG gas cylinders.

The most recent reduction in LPG cylinder prices occurred in April, when the price of a cylinder was reduced by Rs 10. LPG cylinder prices were already raised in February and March.

The price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder in Mumbai is now Rs 834.50, up from Rs 809 before. The price of an LPG cylinder in Kolkata has risen from Rs 835.50 to Rs 861.

The cost of an LPG cylinder in Delhi was Rs 694 at the start of 2021. In February, the price was raised to Rs 719 per cylinder for the first time. The price was also hiked to Rs 769 on February 15.

Meanwhile, the price of an LPG cylinder was cut to Rs 794 on February 25. The price of an LPG cylinder increased to Rs 819 in March. Finally, the price of household LPG in Delhi has risen to Rs 809 after a drop of Rs 10 in early April. However, due to the recent spike, LPG cylinder prices will rise by Rs 140.50 in 2021.
