Modi Applauds Historic Victory of Indian Women in Badminton Asia Team Championships

Anmol Kharb’s crucial victory in the decisive fifth rubber secured a tight 3-2 win over a depleted Thailand, leading India to its first-ever Women’s Team Trophy at the Badminton Asia Championships held in Shah Alam, Malaysia.

Led by the experienced PV Sindhu, the spirited group of young Indian women exceeded expectations by defeating the two-time bronze medallists, Thailand. Prime Minister Modi expressed his admiration for this remarkable feat in a post, emphasizing the significance of the team’s success in motivating upcoming athletes.
