Is it true that South African woman can have more than one husband? An uproar ensues as a result of the proposed proposal.

Cape Town: A proposal by the South African government to enable women to have several husbands has sparked outrage among the country’s conservatives.

The suggestion is contained in a green paper published by the country’s interior ministry.

Polyandry is one of many proposals in the green paper aimed at making marriage more inclusive in the country.

It has proven to be the most divisive due to the plan to allow a woman to have several spouses.

The administration has extended the deadline for comments on the green paper to June 30. The paper was finished in April and suggestions were accepted in May.

The government paper also states that South African marriage policy is not based on the country’s Constitution. According to news reports, the law also has certain legacy difficulties.
