Malayalis working in Oman have reason to rejoice as Oman Air, the national airline of Oman, has unveiled plans for 28 weekly services to Kerala airports as part of their revamped summer schedule. The airline’s new schedule encompasses 40 cities worldwide, with a focus on 12 cities in the Indian subcontinent. Among these destinations are Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kozhikode, Kochi, Thiruvananthapuram, Goa, Dhaka, Lucknow, and Karachi.

Specifically, Oman Air will operate 28 weekly services across three key airports in Kerala: Kozhikode (7 services), Kochi (14 services), and Thiruvananthapuram (7 services). This move is expected to significantly ease travel for Malayalis expatriates between Oman and Kerala.
