Shah Rukh Khan’s “Jawan” Shatters Records, Earns ₹144.22 Crores Nationwide in 3 Days

Shah Rukh Khan’s high-intensity action thriller film, “Jawan,” has achieved an extraordinary milestone by recording the highest single-day box office collection ever for a Hindi film in India. The movie grossed an impressive ₹144.22 crore nationwide on the third day of its release, as announced by the film’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment, on social media.

Directed by renowned Tamil filmmaker Atlee, “Jawan” is a pan-Indian release that hit theaters in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. Alongside Shah Rukh Khan, the film features acclaimed actors Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, with Deepika Padukone making a special appearance.

The production house, Red Chillies Entertainment, proudly shared the movie’s box office figures, revealing that it achieved the highest single-day collection ever, with ₹68.72 crore coming from the Hindi version alone.

“Jawan” tells a compelling father-son story while addressing pertinent social and political issues through its lead character portrayed by Shah Rukh Khan. The film boasts an ensemble cast, including Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Girija Oak, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureshi, Ridhi Dogra, Sunil Grover, Mukesh Chhabra, and features a cameo appearance by Sanjay Dutt.

According to noted trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the Hindi version of “Jawan” amassed an impressive ₹180.45 crore within just three days, solidifying its status as a box office juggernaut.
