Narendra Modi’s WhatsApp Channel Gains 1.7 Million Followers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has garnered an impressive 1.7 million followers on Metta’s latest feature, the WhatsApp channel. Modi was among the early adopters of such channels, offering a platform to share text, images, videos, stickers, and more with his followers. Within the initial 24 hours of launching his WhatsApp channel, Modi attracted 1 million followers. Many other celebrities have also embraced this trend and established their own WhatsApp channels.

Notably, the Indian cricket team’s WhatsApp channel boasts 5.1 million followers, while Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif have attracted 4.1 million and 8.4 million fans, respectively. Even popular figures in regional cinema, such as Mohanlal and Mammootty, have introduced WhatsApp channels in the Malayalam language.

To join these WhatsApp channels, users can open WhatsApp and navigate to the ‘Updates’ tab. By selecting the ‘Find Channels’ option at the bottom of the screen, a list of available channels will appear. Alternatively, users can use the ‘Search’ feature in the top-right corner to discover various channels. To join a channel, simply tap the ‘+’ icon next to its name.
