37 Train Services have been suspended in the state

Thiruvananthapuram: Train services have been suspended in the state. Thirty-seven services, including 12 express trains, were suspended. Services have been suspended until the 31st of this month.

Railways said the decision to suspend services had nothing to do with the lockdown and that it was taking into account the low number of passengers. Kannur Janashatabdi, Vanchinad, Express, Palaruvi Express, Antyodaya Express, Ernad, Bangalore Intercity, Banaswadi – Ernakulam, Mangalore – Thiruvananthapuram, Nizamuddin – Thiruvananthapuram Weekly were canceled.

Meanwhile, other trains including Kozhikode Janashatabdi will be in service.
