Kannur District Leads Kerala School Kalolsavam Points Tally on Day 2
On the second day of the Kerala State School Kalolsavam 2024, Kannur district emerged as the leader on the points table with a total of 420 points. Kozhikode and Palakkad closely followed with 405 points each, securing the second position. Kollam district claimed the third spot with 404 points, while Thrissur was in fifth place with 394 points. In the schools’ tally, Palakkad BSS Gurukulam School took the lead with 101 points. The annual event, Kerala School Kalolsavam, was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Asramam ground in Kollam on January 4, marking the beginning of a cultural extravaganza showcasing the talents of students across various art forms.
The Kalolsavam, a prestigious cultural competition, features performances in music, dance, drama, and other artistic disciplines by students from schools across Kerala. The event not only celebrates the artistic abilities of the youth but also fosters a spirit of healthy competition and cultural exchange.
