Medical report clears mother of alleged sexual assault of 14-year-old in Kadakkavoor

Based on the medical assessment, police deemed the complaint in a case involving an alleged sexual assault of a 14-year-old child by his mother in Kadakkavoor, Thiruvananthapuram, to be fake.
According to the medical study, there is no proof that the lady assaulted her kid in 2019 while he was residing with his mother. According to the study, there is no evidence of the sexual assault. Despite a thorough medical examination of the youngster, the doctors were unable to find any evidence of violence. According to the police, the allegation alleging sexual abuse of a little kid is false and without merit.

At the Thiruvananthapuram medical college, a special medical board was established, and the boy was submitted to one or more medical examinations. There was no proof of sexual abuse found by the board.
The POCSO court received the report from the special investigative team, which stated that there is no proof against the woman to be named as an accused in the case.
The woman, a mother of four children, was arrested by the Kadakkavoor police in December under the POCSO Act. The mother was sentenced to 7 months in prison after the father of the child filed a complaint with the Kadakkavoor police.

The child’s parents had divorced. A probe was ordered as a result of the complaint, and the mother was arrested as a result.
The youngster told the inquiry team about his mother’s sexual assault while they were looking into the matter. The woman was apprehended and remanded in the women’s prison in Attakulangara.
