Cabinet Reshuffle in Kerala: Ganesh Kumar and Kadannapally Ramachandran Likely to be Inducted as Ministers

K B Ganesh Kumar and Kadannapally Ramachandran will soon be inducted as ministers in the Kerala government. The latest speculation suggests that Ganesh Kumar may be assigned the transport department, while Kadannapally Ramachandran could oversee the port department. The final decision on the swearing-in date and portfolios for the new ministers is expected to be disclosed during the Left Front meeting scheduled for December 24. The Nava Kerala Sadas, taking place in Ernakulam on January 1 and 2, will serve as the platform for their official inclusion in the state cabinet.

The resignations of the current Transport Minister Antony Raju and Ports Minister Ahmed Devarkovil will precede the induction of Ganesh Kumar and Kadannapally Ramachandran. The official announcement of the swearing-in date will be made after seeking Governor Arif Muhammad Khan’s availability. Both Kadannapally and Ganesh Kumar have previous experience overseeing the ports and transport departments, respectively. The cabinet reshuffle, initially slated for November 20, was postponed to allow the current ministers to continue until the conclusion of the Nava Kerala Sadas.
