Row sparked by CPI(M) MLA Mukesh’s phone call yelling at a school student

Malayalam actor and CPI(M) Kollam MLA M Mukesh has landed himself in hot water when a phone conversation of him yelling at a youngster was leaked. The caller claims to be a Class 10 student from Ottappalam in the Palakkad district. Despite the fact that the caller stated that he was calling for an urgent problem, the CPI(M) politician refused to listen to him. Mukesh could be heard yelling at the youngster, questioning why he didn’t phone the Palakkad MLA instead.

The child is heard explaining that he got the number from one of his classmates and called to inform the Kollam MLA of an emergency. Mukesh responded by suggesting that the friend who gave him his number should be slapped across the face. The actor-politician then inquires of the youngster who is the MLA for the constituency to which he belongs. When the youngster replied, “I don’t know,” Mukesh remarked that if the boy had been in front of him, he would have beaten him with a cane. While the youngster continues to apologise, the Kollam MLA continues to chastise him. Mukesh also advises him not to call him again. Mukesh never asks or listens to what the boy’s troubles are during the phone call.

Following the disclosure of the phone call, which sparked fury among many, Mukesh took to Facebook to claim that he had been receiving multiple calls on his phone since the Assembly election results. “I’ve been getting calls since the election results. My phone’s battery would die within one hour. Some people grumble about the lack of current, while others wonder why the trains are running late. It’s like premeditated harassment. They were attempting to provoke me but were unable to do so until now “explained the MLA.

Mukesh stated that this young man contacted him while he was in a Zoom conference. He stated that he had answered the boy’s first call and assured him that he was at a meeting and would return his call. “However, he kept phoning six times.” “Eventually, the meeting was cancelled,” Mukesh claimed, saying that someone had planned to torment him with the boy. Why did he call six times and record the phone call if he was so innocent? So everything is in order,” the MLA stated.

Nobody, he added, should teach him how to interact with youngsters. Mukesh further stated that his threat to strike the youngster with a cane was merely a metaphor. Meanwhile, the caller has not been identified.
