Persistent Rainfall Expected in the State, Fishing Activities Unrestricted

The state is anticipated to experience ongoing rainfall, with particular attention to heavy rain possibilities in hilly regions and a likelihood of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning. Notably, no specific rainfall warnings have been issued for the districts.

Fishermen and coastal inhabitants are advised to exercise caution due to the potential for high waves and turbulent seas along the Kerala coastline. Importantly, there are no constraints on fishing activities along the Kerala-Karnataka-Lakshadweep coasts.

According to the Central Meteorological Department, the withdrawal of the monsoon is expected to commence around September 25th in West Rajasthan. However, persistent rains are projected to persist in the state due to the influence of a cyclonic circulation over West Jharkhand and South Tamil Nadu.
