All Set for Makaravilakku at Sabarimala’s Sannidhanam

Makaravilakku preparations are in full swing at Sannidhanam, the pilgrim spot, with various rituals taking place ahead of the holy event. The Thiruvabharanam procession is en route to Laha and will proceed to Sannidhanam tomorrow. Devotees are gathering in large numbers in anticipation of the Makaravilakku on January 15, and it is estimated that around two lakh pilgrims will be part of this divine experience. Stringent safety and security measures have been put in place in Sabarimala to manage the large crowd, with 10 Makara Jyothi points established and essential facilities, including drinking water, provided. Continuous crowd control efforts will be carried out by the police.
