Kerala Administrative Tribunal (KAT) Orders Resolution on College Teachers’ Dearness Allowance within Four Months

The Kerala Administrative Tribunal (KAT) has instructed authorities to make a determination regarding the allocation of Dearness Allowance (DA) for college teachers, a matter that has remained pending for the last three and a half years.

The directive has been issued to the Additional Chief Secretary of the Finance Department, urging them to assess the request presented by the Government Teachers Organization, consider the perspectives of the petitioners, and render a decision on the subject.

The directive was issued by a panel consisting of KAT’s judicial member, Justice PV Asha, along with administrative member Dr Pradeep Kumar and others.
