KSEB Revokes Assistant Executive Engineers’ Promotion Due to Rule Violation

Kochi: Responding to allegations of rule infractions, the Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) has invalidated a promotion arrangement for assistant executive engineers. Consequently, a fresh directive was released, with several names from the initial roster being omitted.

Originally, twenty assistant executive engineers were elevated to the position of executive engineers in the initial directive. However, KSEB revoked this order after receiving complaints of non-compliance with specific criteria outlined in the Kerala Engineering Service Rules. In the updated directive, only twelve individuals from the initial list meet the requirements for promotion. In the meantime, five officials who were granted the initial promotion have already commenced their roles as executive engineers.
