Second Vande Bharat Train Service in Kerala with Nine Stops, Including Tirur; Operates Six Days a Week

Dakshin Railway has unveiled details for the second Vande Bharat train service allocated to Kerala. Operating as train numbers 20631-20632, this service will run between Kasaragod and Thiruvananthapuram, and vice versa, providing a Vande Bharat connection for passengers. The train will traverse Alappuzha and offer service six days a week, except for Mondays to Kasaragod and Tuesdays to Thiruvananthapuram.

The train departing from Thiruvananthapuram at 4.05 pm will make stops at the following stations: Kollam (16.53), Alappuzha (17.53), Ernakulam Junction (18.35), Thrissur (19.40), Shornur (20.15), Tirur (20.52), Kozhikode (21.23), Kannur (22.24), and finally, Kasaragod (23.58).

Conversely, the train departs from Kasaragod at 7:55 am, with stops at Kannur (07.55), Kozhikode (8.57), Tirur (09.22), Shornur (09.58), Thrissur (10.38), Ernakulam (11.45), Alappuzha (12.32), and Kollam (13.40). It is scheduled to cross and reach Thiruvananthapuram around 03.05 pm. The official dedication of this second Vande Bharat train to the nation by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set for Sunday, September 24th.
